Toner Recycling
St. John's School ThinkRecycle Program
Think Recycle is now accepting laptops and tablets!
For the past two years, St. John's School has partnered with ThinkRecycle, a leader in providing cost-free, environmental fundraising and recycling solutions. Through the collection of unwanted electronics including cell phones, inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges, and digital cameras, St. John's School has collected $821.52 in funds, kept 1,036 lbs.of trash out of garbage dumps, and had 18 trees planted on behalf of the school (See below for St. John's School complete environmental report).
Participating in the program is easy. Simply leave used black or color, inkjet or laser toner cartridges, old cell phones, digital cameras and now laptops and tablets in the recycle box located in the school lobby and we take care of the rest. Your place of employment can also help suppot our school by donaing unwanted cell phones, inkjets toner cartridges and digital cameras. Items collected are boxed up and shipped to ThinkRecycle where each box is sorted and inspected by ThinkRecycle staff and funds earned by the school are recorded in the school's account. Once the account balance reaches $50.00, a check is requested and is sent to our school.
Your support of the Think Recycling program will help teach our children about the importance of recycling, the benefits of tree planting and help to raise needed money for our school. Thank you to all who have donated participated these past two years and all who will participate this new academic year.
